Lakecia Gunter, M.S., holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to her technical expertise in software and process engineering and microprocessor validation, she serves in volunteer leadership roles with the United Way in Oregon, the Urban League of Portland, and the National Society of Black Engineers.

“I had the good fortune of having mentors, coaches, teachers, uncles, aunts—a complete village of people who always encouraged me and provided doorways for me to walk through. Because a few people believed in me, it made a difference in my life. I, too, want to make a difference in the lives of others,” says Ms. Gunter.
